Consider getting some faux lashes for your wedding day or any special night out.  They make a whirlwind of difference in pictures because lashes help to lift the eye up.  Most people hear fake lashes and automatically think that they will be gaudy or dramatic and that is not the case.  They make hundreds of different styles of lashes, from extreme to subtle so you can find ones that are perfect for you.  If you want to be adventurous and try them on your own, go with strip lashes.   Place the lash up to your eye to see if you need to cut off any excess lash, once the excess is removed, snip the eyelashes in half (yes, do it!), secure each half to your lash line separately with eyelash glue and make sure that they meet in the middle.  Once you have more practice, you will be able to do the entire strip but cutting them in half at first makes the process much easier until you get the hang of it.
